CLIENT: DEPARTMENT OF PRIMARY INDUSTRIES, VICTORIA EXPERTISE: DESIGN
The Department of Primary Industries engaged The Primary Agency to reinvigorate its primary medium for engaging the mineral and petroleum sectors - Discovery magazine. While Discovery had been in production for several years, its style and layout lacked vitality and, by association, presented an image which was inconsistent with the innovative and industry-acknowledged work being undertaken by the Department’s Earth Resources Division. The brief: ‘redesign and restructure Discovery magazine consistent with our expectations of how we should be portrayed’. So, we did! Discovery magazine is now and industry feature; The Primary Agency project manages the entire production from design through copywriting to production. Circulation has grown from 3,000 to 4,500 and continues to climb.
